Local attractions and activities

In the locale

Wicketty bank is only 5 mins walk from the Hampton State Forest for hiking, mountain biking or trout fishing in season.

For those inclined to try horse riding we recommend Arundel Riding and Horsemanship. Visit them at www.arundelequestrian.com.

If you wish to bring your own horse, there are plenty of beautiful trails in the immediate vicinity.

The Hampton State Forest is a designated hunting area for those with R class licences.

At the end of a long day exploring, we recommend sitting around a bonfire taking time to do a whole lot of nothing. Cook your own dinner or seek out good food and wine at the Hampton Halfway Hotel, Tarana Pub or the O'Connell Hotel.
